Alexander Danilevich Was Denied a Change of the Preventive Measure

On June 10, Minsk's Partizansky District Court examined the complaint of attorney Alexander Danilevich against the decision on the application of detention as a preventive measure. The judge did not satisfy the complaint – Alexander remains in the KGB pre-trial detention center.

We remind you that the attorney has already been persecuted for his anti-war position: in April, the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University, where he taught for 20 years, did not extend the contract with him. Also, the Council of the Minsk Regional Bar Association has subjected the attorney to disciplinary responsibility, reprimanding him for signing an anti-war petition.

The lawyer had been out of touch since May 20. Later it became known that he was in the KGB pre-trial detention center. It is not clear under what article Alexander was detained.
